خلاصه : In chapter one, we will first explain the various technologies applied in 5G especially in radio and transmission sections. The most important technology enablers are SDN, NFV, Massive MIMO, millimeter wave for cellular and backhaul networks, CRAN and a variety of interfaces in the transmission network and small cells. These technologies can achieve higher rates, very low latency, high reliability, greater network flexibility and much longer lifespan than previous generations of mobile networks. We will discuss 5G technology from the standpoint of standardization institutions, as well.lt;br/gt;In the fifth generation of mobile communications, frequency spectrum is one of the most important requirements for the successful implementation of this technology. In the fifth generation, the demand for continuous greater bandwidth and internationally harmonization bandwidth for global roaming will increase significantly. Although the activities of companies in the mobile industry, universities and research institutes and international standardization organizations have made a continuous effort to develop the technologies needed in the fifth generation of mobile communications, the success of implementing this generation of mobile communications depends heavily on the performance of governments and regulators in providing bandwidth. Frequency spectrum management in the fifth generation of mobile communications is another important factor in the successful implementation of this technology. As the number of connected devices and the rate of data exchange in this generation of mobile phones increase, the more frequency spectrum will require dramatically. Introducing new frequency spectrums or refarming the frequency spectrum of previous generations, although are some of the methods to address this challenge, but require high time and cost. As a result, by optimally managing the spectrum, the spectral efficiency increases. It is worth noting that in the long run, only the use of dynamic spectrum management will not be enough, and the more frequency spectrum is also needed. Therefore, in order to optimize the use of spectrum, it is necessary to change the current practice of traditional spectrum management. Undoubtedly, the current spectrum management methods will not be able to meet the needs of future technologies, thus moving to the flexible methods referred as dynamic spectrum management is inevitable. lt;br/gt;In the second chapter of this report, we first examine the current status of the frequency spectrum in existing 2, 3 and 4 generation wireless cellular networks. Then, we study the required spectrum in the 5G network, future countriesapos; programs and research institutes in terms of the required frequency spectrum. In the remainder of this section, we examine the dynamic management of spectrum and the secondary market in the fifth generation of mobile communications.lt;br/gt;Chapter 3 of this report discusses the essential aspects of IoT, including the development of applications which are able to employing 3GPP wireless cellular technologies. First, the IoT market drivers and their application requirements are reviewed. It is then followed by the key 3GPP radio access mechanisms for enabling and promoting the use of cellular connectivity. This chapter describes the architectural innovations and IoT protocols such as core networks, monitoring and services. Such an approach strengthens the position of 3GPP architectures and technologies as a basis for designing, deploying and operating IoT applications on a global scale. In addition to eMTC and NB-IOT, new features as well as IoT KPIs related to the new 5G NR radio technology are also briefly explained.lt;br/gt;
